“Back to School”

Once again, after a long time, greetings. It’s been awhile (Staind reference) since I last ranted. Since I’ve taken up the art of driving, I haven’t found much time to rant. I spend more time away from the computer than I used to. If I’m on it, I never consider writing a rant. I’m lazy, what can I say. So the summer has been grand. I’ve driven everywhere Manchester, I’ve went to the movies more this summer than I did in the past 3 years, I’ve made loads of moolah at the golf course, and I’ve met a very wonderful girl by the name of Chelsea. She’s so darn adorable. The grandest summer of my life, but it ends tomorrow.

Yep, the first day of school is tomorrow. We go for 2 hours and sit there. What fun!!!! I’m actually looking forward to it. I get to see all those people I haven’t seen for a couple of months. I just don’t want to get up that early. Blah. Since I’m driving, I don’t have to get up as early as I used to. That’s only a 30 min difference though. Oh well. (Ahhhh, my little cousin is crying in the background, how soothing).

The Ramones are a freaking cool band. I bought their anthology yesterday. I wanna be sedated. Whoooooo!!!!! Over the summer, I’ve gained a new favorite band. That band is Pearl Jam. They are freaking awesome. I bought all their CDs in a matter of 2 weeks. I also picked up an Import single off of Ebay. I’ve listened to a whole bunch of music this summer. I compiled a list of the Top Ten Most Played Albums in My Car:

10.Shangri-La-Dee-Da - Stone Temple Pilots
9. Horrorscope - Eve 6
8. Ten - Pearl Jam
7. Self-Titled - New Found Glory
6. Break the Cycle - Staind
5. ANThology - Alien Ant Farm
4. Make Yourself - Incubus
3. The Blue Album - Weezer
2. Hybrid Theory - Linkin Park

And the #1 most played album in my car this summer is............

1.The Mark, Tom, and Travis Show(Live) - Blink 182

Some honorable mentions in this list were Something Like Human by Fuel and the American Pie 2 soundtrack.

I am thankful this summer that I did not suffer in major head injuries, get killed by stray fireworks, or choke on Mountain Dew. Pretty safe summer this year. Now for the summer totals.

Total Number of CDs bought or copied: 55

Total Number of Video Rentals: 17

Total Number of Movies Seen In Theater: 3

Total Number of Visits to Sonic: 27

Total Number of Hours at Work: 310.5

Total Number of Major Head Injuries: 0

Total Number of “Be Careful and Buckle Up”s from Mom: 1,003,456

That last one is a just a rough estimate. After hearing it for the first 1000 times, you learn to zone it out. Hahahahahaha. Anyways, I have purchased quite of few CDs this summer. The numbers are about half and half with purchased and copied. So roughly I bought 22.5 CDs. It kinda sucks when you open up a CD and only half of it is there.

You ever seen those statistics which say that the average family has 2.5 children. That must mean the average family also gives birth to a dwarf. Just a thought.

Oh well, I must go rest for my exciting day tomorrow. Not only do I get to look forward to school, but I also look forward to going to work directly after school. Not only that, but at work there is a pretty big tournament that has 144 old women. Yeeps. My job is to smile and look pretty. Yay. Well goodbye for now.
