"Thankgiving Vacation"

Greetings to all. I hope you all had a nice and happy Thanksgiving. I did. I was busy all week. Let’s review it, shall we.

My little holiday vacation began on Wednesday. I woke up early so I could go to the “Buro” with Sheena and her parents. I got to her house around 10-10:30am. I sat in her room waiting for her to get ready. I read a few magazines including Teen People and some other girly magazine. Before we left, Sheena made us watch a little of an N*SYNC concert. Yippee. We trekked around town for a while then I came home to an empty house. Thanksgiving Day I decided to work. My mom was going to work so I thought I might bag a few hours at work myself. Little did I know I would end up working 9 1/2 hours(7:30-5:00). Oh well. That’s what I get. I got home and we ate the mandatory turkey and other stuff. It was good. That reminds me, I’m hungry. I’m going to get something to eat. Some chocolate covered raisins will do. Ahhh, they’re my sister’s. She just took them back. Oh well. Hopefully dinner will be done soon.

Ok, let’s see, where was I? Oh yeah. Friday, I spent with Sheena. Therefore it is automatically considered a wonderful day. We had dinner with her step-siblings and her step-dad’s parents. I must say that Sheena’s mom’s mashed potatoes are great. I forgot to tell her that. Now I’m even hungrier. Yeesh. Saturday came next. It was the day of the big surprise party for my father. It was his 40th birthday. We got a lot of his friends to come up and surprise him at the golf course. My boss was kind enough to let us rent out the banquet room for free. Thank you Sammy. Anyway, we had to figure out a way to get him over there. I said that I was going to take everyone out to eat for my dad’s birthday and that they need to pick me up after work. We got him. I never saw it coming. During the party, we had a little “roast”. That’s where you kind of make fun of the person or tell some funny stories about him. There were some interesting stories. Very funny stuff. Mine was about the time he had mistaken a Britney Spears cardboard-standup for an actual person. Of course there was plenty of beer for people to drink. And of course, where there’s beer, there’s a party. Many people ended up getting drunk or at least a little tipsy. It was quite an interesting night.

The day after the big party, I was sent back to the golf course to clean up. We got most of it the night before but there was still some stuff left to be done. I had to vacuum the room, wash dishes, and mop up some Sprite my brother spilt in the foyer. Then, finding out I didn’t have to work, I went to Wal-Mart with my dad, sister, and brother. I ended up buying the new Beatles’ Greatest Hits. It’s a good disc. It’s got some classic songs on it. Good stuff. I came back up and roamed around my house doing some things. I copied the Grinch soundtrack I borrowed from my uncle. Then we left for town once again. We headed to Wendy’s to eat. Big step up from McDonald’s. Alright. I am upset that the Titans lost to the Jaguars yesterday. Grrrr. I don’t like Jacksonville.

Today is my little brother’s birthday. He is now 4 years old. One year from being 5, the year everything seemed to happen to me. Sorry, inside joke. Last year a lot of things happened to me as well. Anyways, I bought my brother a little Grinch action figure. Apparently, my dad decided to go ahead and buy my brother what I was going to get him for Christmas. I was going to get him the X-Men movie but my dad stole that from me and bought it for him today. Grrrrrr. I’ll just buy him some kind of action figure. I know what I’m going to watch tonight. That movie is good. I’m listening to Limp Bizkit’s Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water(Thank you Sheena). I am impressed. I’ve heard some bad reviews on this disc but I like it so far. The first 10 songs are good. Oh well. I guess I am going to go. I’m tired and hungry. Bye.
