"Nader for President"
Yeesh, another Monday. I’m so wore out that I almost questioned what year it was. Don’t ask. Oh well. I need to learn the art of sleeping. If anyone knows any good sleeping tips, email me. I have trouble sleeping mainly on Sunday nights. Oh well. Tomorrow is Bob’s (Robin) birthday. YIPPEE!!!!!!! *Singing*Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to BOB, happy birthday to you. Ok, time for the ranting:
Well, last Tuesday was the election to decide whom would take the Presidential office in the year 2001. As all of you know by now, a President wasn’t decided. It’s craziness. I say screw Bush and Gore and put Nader in the office. Ralph Nader is my hero. They have ordered that the recount in Florida must end tomorrow. Personally, I don’t care which one goes to office. I haven’t paid attention to this year’s election at all. I didn’t watch any of the debates. I’m clueless on who would be better for our country. The reason I went for Nader is because he represents the Green Party (Green being my favorite color). I say, the next time we elect a new President, we should have a different format. Go ahead and have the popular and electoral college vote, but I think they should have some kind of physical competition. Better yet, a fight to the death. You know, like on Celebrity Deathmatch. The winner gets President and keeps his life. The other, well, dies. That be a little more interesting than just simply voting. Oh well, that’s just my opinion. What about good ole Hillary Clinton getting New York Senate. Yippee for her. 50% of the people who didn’t vote for her said that the didn’t vote for Lazio (her running mate) but just voted against her.
Well from one subject to another. I was just thinking about music. I have the weirdest taste in music. I mainly like the alternative rock genre but I also have tastes in other “genres” (I said that like Mrs. Willis, Chris). I can listen to a little rap, little country, little Christian, and even a little pop. You should take a look at my CD collection. It goes from Metallica to Sarah McLachlan. From Green Day to the Dixie Chicks. From AC/DC to Korn. From Aerosmith to Dr. Dre. From Queen to Methods of Mayhem. I’ll even get into musical moods. About every week or two, I’ll have a new kind of music I want to listen to. One week it may be a little metal. Metallica, AC/DC, and Megedeth. One mood is a little punk. Green Day, Blink 182, and so forth. How about rap. Dr. Dre, Beastie Boys, Limp Bizkit, Methods of Mayhem. Ummm, I’ve got my melodic mood. Sarah McLachlan and Pink Floyd. Lately I’ve been listening to a lot of Green Day, Blink 182, and Deftones.
Did anyone catch the Titans game yesterday against the Ravens? I am very upset over the outcome. Though we were lucky to get that interception, Del Greco shouldn’t have missed that PAT. I wasn’t really expecting him to hit that 42 yard field goal either. Oh well. First loss at Adelphia. That’s okay I guess, but why did it have to be Baltimore we lost to? Yeesh. The Vols did a nice job on Saturday. Didn’t they break the record for most points scored in the 1st quarter? Though the quarterback is only a freshman, he’s pretty good. Give them a couple of years, and the Vols will be a force to be reckoned with. Okay, I’m leaving the subject of football. I know some people really don’t care.
Well, it’s starting to get cold again. Remember when it started getting cold then it decided to get warm again. We’ve had a weird couple of months. I think there is a slight, very slight, chance of flurries tonight. I think I overheard that on the TV. Who knows? I could care less. Though a snow day would be cool, doubt it will happen. I probably just jinxed it too. Oh well. It was cold at school today. Luckily I came prepared with a long sleeve shirt. Then Sheena decided to take it. I froze the rest of the day. I hope it’s still keeping you warm. I’m just kidding. I didn’t freeze. Just when I went outside without a jacket but that’s okay. As long as my sweetie was warm. Hehe.
I almost forgot. Tomorrow is me and Sheena’s 6 week anniversary. That’s 42 days. Wow. Doesn’t seem that long. As a gift, I am going to serenade her with our favorite love song, “Closer” by NIN. Or not, you know, whichever. Until next time, remember to look towards the sun with eyes wide open. Bye-bye.

That one is for you Sheena, bye.
