I find days of skipping school very convenient days to write rants. Actually I’m not skipping. Well, in a way, I am. Depends on how you look at it. I was up until 3am last night with a migraine headache that gave me the feeling I was going to vomit. I decided it wouldn’t be worth going to school if I was going to be nodding off through-out classes. The only reason I regret not going is because I didn’t get to see my Sheeny Baby. I miss her. She called me from lunch earlier. That made me feel better. I got to sleep until 10:30 this morning. I awoke to the sounds of my little bratty brother running playing Power Rangers or something like that. He’s loud. Especially because my room does not have a door. It sucks. I’m feeling a wee bit better though I have a faint headache. I was having some funky dreams last night during this whole ordeal. I was half awake and half asleep so you’re not too sure if they’re reality or dreams. At around 2:30, I decided I should take a voyage to the downstairs and get some aspirin. I think it took about 10 minutes before I actually ingested any aspirin. I went down there, and I walked very slowly to the kitchen. I finally got to the area where we keep the medicine. I then laid my head on the counter for a little bit. I was in severe pain. I finally swallowed the aspirin and then I felt like I was going to vomit. I went to the bathroom and just laid in the floor. I think I almost fell asleep. Once the nauseous feeling passed over, I got a warm wash clothe and went to fall asleep in the living room recliner. My mom woke me up at about 5 and asked what I was doing there. I explained briefly still expecting to go to school. I woke up one hour later and got in the shower and realized that I’m too tired to go to school. So I went back to sleep.
I definitely didn’t have fun last night. Sweet lord no. Anyways, the 3-day weekend was okay. I basically worked all weekend. I worked 5 hours on Saturday, 7 hours on Sunday, 5.5 of Monday. Rollin in the dough. That’s a good thing though. Someone’s birthday is coming up soon. I also need to join a support group. I’m spending way too much money on CDs. I need help. Even though I have a burner, I still buy CDs. I bought two on Sunday. I bought the compilation tribute album to the late Lynn Strait, Strait Up. Angel’s Son with Lajon from Sevendust is an awesome song. Pure awesomeness. I also bought Sugar Ray’s first CD, Lemonade and Brownies. This stuff is before their mellow stuff like Every Morning and Sometimes. Pretty good stuff. I’m interested in getting 14:59 though. Anyways. Like I said, I buy too many CDs. I’m addicted to music. Music is cool but it’s expensive. \$14-17 for a freaking CD is sometimes not worth it. I hate it when I buy a CD and not like it. I haven’t done that in a while. I’ll also buy a CD that I don’t like at first but like a month or two later, I’ll be into it. Then the opposite happens, I buy a CD I like for about a month, then I’ll hate it. Oh well.
I’ve had a new obsession on my computer for the past few weeks. I went to Games Heaven which is linked off of Jon’s site, and I downloaded this game I used to have on my first computer. The title of it is Commander Keen. I had the first episode but I never played the 2nd or 3rd. This site had them. It took me about 2 weeks to beat the 2nd one. I haven’t played the 3rd one yet because the controls are different and I don’t think I can get used to them. Oh well. Commander Keen is the most awesome arcade style game in the world. That’s really all I’ve been doing on my computer. I’ve also been renting DVDs for my new player. I finally watched Loser the other night. It sucked in my opinion. I thought that it might be decent but it just didn’t click with me. Oh well, you have your hits and misses.
Any Buffy fans out there? Well, if you caught last weeks episode, in my opinion, it sucked. It was too humorous. It wasn’t really a serious ep. Though the humour had me laughing, the show just didn’t click with me like it normally does. I’m anxious to see tonight’s Angel. He fired his crew on the last ep and now he’s training himself to destroy Darla and Dru. Should be interesting I hope. Another show I’m into is Boston Public. Though, in my opinion, it’s a little too unrealistic. It’s still a good and funny show. It’s one of the first shows to take a somewhat serious approach to showing the lives of teachers. Mr. Senate is my favorite. He’s cool. I want some Dr. Pepper. I’m thirsty. Hmmm oh well, tough. Well, today has been full of boredom. I think I’m gonna go play some Commander Keen. I’ll see you guys on the dark side of the moon. Bye bye.
