What is it like to think without a conscience?
Without remorse or regret?
People do things they feel nothing about
No matter how much pain or anguish they cause
They move on like nothing had happened
Even though they left people in tears
They can walk in and steal something so precious
Such as a person’s own life
They walk without feeling
Without guilt for what they have done
That’s a feeling I cannot imagine
How is this at all possible?
What do you see when you look into their eyes?
Do you see a human being?
Maybe human, but they are lost souls
Lost souls born without a conscience
